About the Role
We are seeking a Home Manager to lead a children’s residential home. In this role you provide administrative oversight of both staff and daily home operations, safeguard the health and safety of residents and staff, and hold financial responsibility for your home. This is a supervisory leadership position with a 24/7 on-call support expectation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative oversight of staff matters, including hiring, supervising, mentoring, disciplining, and discharging staff
- Provide administrative oversight of all home activities, such as reviewing the daily home log
- Ensure the home maintains optimum health and safety for residents and staff members
- Maintain financial responsibility for the home
- Be available on-call 24/7 to support your team as needed, in person or virtually
Required Qualifications
Candidates qualify through EITHER of the following paths:
Path A — without a bachelor’s degree:
- At least 60 semester hours of college credit,
- At least 2 years of full-time experience in a residential childcare program,
- At least 25 years of age, and
- A minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
Path B — preferred:
- A bachelor’s degree with two years of supervisory experience (preferred path).
In addition, all candidates must have:
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to transport youth

- $55,000 – $60,000/year, depending on years of experience
